Bernese Oberland

The mountains of Bernese Oberland seen from Niesen. Niesen is a mountain in Canton of Bern in central Switzerland. This mountain is very popular with para-gliders. I was able to include one of them in the image on the left-hand side. This photo was taken in the evening of a sunny day in August of 2005. This photo was the image of the month in August of 2009. This photo was taken with a digital camera.
